Knowledge of the different risk factors associated with cancer in the university population

This research allows us to evaluate the level of knowledge of the university population from I and II semester of the faculty of Basic and Health Sciences of the Simón Bolívar University in Barranquilla, about the different risk factors associated with cancer. Socio-demographic variables such as sex and age will be taken into account and knowledge of the factors associated with the appearance of cancer and knowledge of cancer prevention methods will be evaluated.

Steps to reproduce

The study population were university students from I to II semester of the Faculty of Basic and Health Sciences of the Simón Bolívar University in Barranquilla-Colombia. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, with participation was voluntary, with prior acceptance of informed consent. The survey was conducted virtually and Microsoft Excel was required to access the data. The informed consent and the instrument applied can be found in appendix 1.
